Sending you all sunshine on this beautiful Wednesday before Thanksgiving! There is so much to be thankful for and I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by this year. It feels like it was just January not too long ago and we were all setting our goals and intentions for 2017. It’s such a wonderful time to reflect so I want to share 5 things I’m thankful for this year + a holiday inspired outfit for tomorrow’s Turkey day!
Family – Having the complete opposite schedule from my parents has been a little bit hard and makes me feel guilty sometimes for not being able to see them as much but we’ve had periods of quality time throughout each month to really make up for that time. Nothing brings me more joy than to catch up with my parents to see how they’re doing!
Love – Johnny and I hit our second year of marriage this year! Can you believe it?! It feels like our wedding was just yesterday. We’ve been enjoying married life so much with all of it’s obstacles and we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Love our family of 4 ( Johnny, Me and our Pomeranians Bender & Squirt)
Friendship – I’m so thankful to have such strong friendships in my life, they’re like my second family. Being able to maintain and grow friendships past college days I think can be extremely hard but I’m proud of what my friends and I have done to maintain our strong bond. Also having the opportunity to make new friends this year has been a blessing too!
Blogging & YouTube – As some of you might know I’m a Social Media Specialist in my day job and I wouldn’t be able to have a career without my passion and love for YouTube and my blog. This is the space where I’ve learned everything and still continue to do so. It fuels my 9-5 career as well as my side hustle of being a content creator. Over this past year, I’ve grown more comfortable in my own skin of creating content on these platforms and being able to connect with others who enjoy the same topics! I’ve had anxiety about this in the past that kept me from creating but it feels like such a breath of fresh air this year to be able to feel more free from it and just enjoy the process!
Traveling – I got to travel to Europe for the first time this year with my best friends and I still can’t believe that it happened! We went back in May (LOL my travel posts will be coming soon, better late than never right?!) and it was an unbelievable experience. So many fun memories and adventures running around Europe together that I will never forget. Being able to travel in that capacity just makes you feel so much more connected and grateful for our world and adds an insane amount of inspiration.
Now moving onto this year’s holiday style, I’ve been loving all of the yellow and marigold color trends. So when Cabi reached out to me to share their beautiful Regency coat from their Regent Regal Collection, I was thrilled! The color is so bright and happy with a great flirty fit! It pairs well with dresses, leather leggings, jeans, you name it! I love that it’s a lightweight coat, perfect for Southern California Fall and Winter weather. The color and fit of this coat is so cheerful that it would be a show stopping piece to brighten up any holiday gathering!
Thank you all so much for reading! What are you thankful for this year? Let me know down in comments below!
Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thank you Cabi for sponsoring this post!
